The Dodge WasteGate Controller includes multiple settings for you to fine-tune your maximum boost level to your specific vehicle. Each "level" adds aggressiveness to the way the wastegate responds to changes in boost. Our precision microprocessor calculates boost and how fast it's changing and then uses precision electronics to open or close the wastegate. It operates in the same fashion as the ECU, but our controls allow for superior response and control.
The Dodge WasteGate Controller controls the electrical signals from the ECU to the Wastegate Electronics. On the Cummins 5.9L motor, controlling the this signal allows for more boost to be developed as well as more power.
